Mesmerism and BBC Music Magazine "Rising Star" Alexandra Dariescu
This month’s BBC Music Magazine “Rising Star” Alexandra Dariescu will give the world premiere of Howard’s piano concerto Mesmerism in October 2011: “It’s for the 60th Anniversary of the Liverpool Mozart Orchestra. Emily’s come to my concerts to see what techniques I use. We’ve agreed it will be one of those concertos that has lots of colours”. Mesmerism has been commissioned by the LMO with support from the PRS for Music Foundation.
