Mark Simpson’s Prism released on NMC Recordings, featuring Masquerade by Emily Howard
April 2011 sees the release on NMC Recordings of Mark Simpson’s Prism, a CD of newly commissioned works for clarinet and basset clarinet featuring Emily Howard’s Masquerade, a piece written for Simpson, BBC Young Musician of the Year 2006. Masquerade, for basset clarinet and piano, was first performed by Mark Simpson and Ian Buckle at the Cornerstone in Liverpool in 2009.
